Combat Scenarios:
demonstrations of historical middle age combat will take place. Done in full armor and contact. A tournament of popularity voted on by spectators so be ready to cheer.

Historical Games and Competitions of Skill:
games and competitions will take place throughout the day, including an evolution of Norse stick wrestling, Toutrekk, a variation of tug of war, Kubb, a traditional Scandinavian lawn game, and more.

Youth:
Youth games, classes, and more will be available throughout the day. This includes a children's axe throwing game and a youth division combat class teaching about historical combat, safety, and more. This may include a youth combat tournament pending participation. Youth combat is conducted using foam weapons and protective gear, as well as being broken into divisions of ages 9-11, 12-14, 15-17.
(All youth activities will have a dedicated and background checked youth marshall to ensure safety)

Historical Classes:
Classes and shows will be taught and performed by our citizenry

Feast and More:
Dinner will be provided by Viadrina for an additional buy-in of $20 per plate. The feast provided will be a modern variation of the historical Yule Tide feast. (Menu details TBD). Any dietary restrictions must be made known to the event steward at least 14 days prior to the event for attempts at consideration but Viadrina makes no guarantees.
Drinks, Alcohol, and Snacks will be available at concession. As it is a full day event please remember to pack a lunch and other necessities prior to attending.

Food tickets must be purchased 7 days prior to the event if you wish to pre-register and reserve a plate.

Site Information:
Site opens at 12pm Saturday, parking is found in front and along the side of the building. No fires or camping permitted on site. Pets are not allowed on site unless they are a registered service animal. We are sharing the building and have close neighbors so please be respectful throughout the day and be conservative with your volume levels throughout the event. Keep garbage and recyclables separate and pack out anything you pack in.

Smoking and Alcohol:
The Community Hall is a public building. Personal alcohol is against the law, smoking is not available on site and must be done off property. Do not bring any alcohol, cigarettes', marijuana, illegal substances, or any other similar product on site.

Directions:
(From the West) Take Trans-Canada Hwy/BC-1 E, Take exit 104 for No. 3 Road toward Cultus Lake RECREATIONAL AREA, Keep right at the fork, follow signs for Cultus Lake/Number 3 Road E/Yarrow and merge onto No. 3 Rd, Turn right onto Tolmie Rd, Turn left onto No. 3 Rd, No. 3 Rd turns left and becomes Yarrow Central Rd, Turn left onto Community St (Destination will be on the right)
(From the East) Head west on Trans-Canada Hwy/BC-1 W, Take exit 104 for Number 3 Road E, Turn left onto No. 3 Rd, Turn right onto Tolmie Rd, Turn left onto No. 3 Rd, No. 3 Rd turns left and becomes Yarrow Central Rd, Turn left onto Community St (Destination will be on the right)
